Black
& White Gallery's mission is to cultivate promising
artists in the initial and more advanced phases of their
careers exploring contemporary themes and concepts through
multiple mediums.
Black & White Gallery premiered on September 20,
2002 at 483 Driggs Avenue in the Williamsburg section
of Brooklyn, NY. On June 21, 2006 Black & White
Gallery opened its second location in Chelsea on the
ground floor of the Chelsea Terminal Warehouse at 636
West 28th Street.
In addition to developing its core program in Chelsea,
BWG continues to present ambitious site-specific work
at its original Williamsburg location, in both the indoor
and outdoor spaces.
As
of September 2008, Black & White Gallery // Williamsburg
will be known as
Black
& White Project Space
